Vincent Keesee, Jr.


Vincent A. Keesee, Jr. , a native of Tifton, Georgia, joined Dennis, Corry, Smith & Dixon in August, 2022, and currently concentrates his practice in the firm’s Trucking and Transportation Group. He represents motor carriers, their insurers, and drivers in civil matters in both State and Federal jurisdictions.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Vince represented commercial market clients as “in-house” counsel for a multi-national, Forbes 100, Insurance Company. Prior to that, he owned his own practice focusing primarily on criminal defense. In addition to representing criminal defendants in State and Superior Courts across Georgia and in Federal Courts in the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, Vince also handled plaintiff’s personal injury and workers compensation claims. Before opening his own firm, Vince worked as a Regional Conflict Defender for the State of Georgia and as an Assistant District Attorney for Athens-Clarke and Oconee County, Georgia.

Vince graduated from Washington and Lee University (B.A. 1995) and the University of Georgia School of Law (J.D. 2004). In Law School, Vince served as both an advocate and Coach on various Moot Court teams and was named a Top Five Orator at each competition he entered. Prior to his legal studies, Vince taught Middle School History in the city of Indianola, MS as a member of the Teach for America Corps.
