Amy M. Carter was born in Savannah, Georgia on April 15, 1978. She graduated from University of California, Irvine, cum laude, in 2000. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Carter was a member of the National Speech and Debate Team. She received her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California in 2003. During law school, Ms. Carter was a member and team coordinator of California Western’s National Competition Trial Team. Ms. Carter was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 2003.
Prior to joining Dennis, Corry, Porter, & Smith, L.L.P., Ms. Carter was a Supervising Associate with a Nevada firm where she represented developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in construction defect litigation as well as conducted general insurance defense litigation.
