 Dan was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He received his B.S., with honors, in finance from Butler University in 2007. He received his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2010.
While in law school, Dan was the co-captain of the AAJ Trial Team. He served as the Managing Editor of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal and was a member of the Moot Court Board. His third year, he was a teaching assistant for Appellate Advocacy. At graduation, Dan received the Robert Goldberg Award in Trial Advocacy and was inducted into the Order of Barristers.
