Kimberly M. DeWitt was born in Southfield, Michigan on August 22, 1973. She graduated from Michigan State University with high honors in 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Ms. DeWitt received her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998.
Before focusing her practice on civil defense litigation, Ms. DeWitt worked for a Georgia non-profit corporation and performed the duties of the Special Assistant Attorney General in prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases. She is admitted to and has practiced before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia, as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia
