Ronald R. Coleman, Jr. was born in Marietta, Georgia on June 25, 1961. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from West Georgia College in 1983. In 1987, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. Mr. Coleman was admitted to the bar in Georgia in 1987.

He authored "Insurance Coverage for Sexual Harassment," which was published in the 1999 issue of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association Journal. He is an active member of the Order of the Coif, Atlanta Bar Association, Atlanta Claims Association, Lawyers Club of Atlanta, Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and the Trucking Industry Defense Association. Mr. Coleman is also a licensed private pilot.
