Scott W. McMickle was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 22, 1969. After graduating magna cum laude from Louisiana Tech University. In 1994, he attended the University of Florida College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor with honors. Mr. McMickle was admitted to the bar in Georgia in 1995.

Currently, he is an active member of the Order of Barristers, National Truck and Heavy Equipment Claims Council, Conference of Freight Counsel, Transportation Lawyers Association, Transportation Loss Prevention and Security Council, Association for Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy, the State Bar of Georgia and the Loss Prevention Conference - Southern Motor Carriers where he is a former president. Mr. McMickle is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Georgia , the Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal District Courts in Colorado and the Eastern District of Michigan.
